VACANCY — accepting new projects

Visual Effects & Compositing Studio

Hotel Lobby
VFX

A one-artist studio working in the space between plate and pixel — clean-up, integration, and the invisible finishing work that keeps an audience inside the story instead of admiring the trick.

Sixteen years in the lobby between what was shot and what gets seen.

Hotel Lobby VFX is the studio of Nick Crist, a visual effects artist and compositor whose credits span prestige television, awards-season features, and studio comedy alike. The work is rarely the kind an audience notices — a sky replaced, a rig erased, a city extended a block further than it really goes — which is exactly the point.

Every project moves through the same small room: a plate comes in, a problem gets solved, and the shot leaves looking like it was never touched at all.
